Learn how to protect our freshwater by:

• Understanding the hazards of the unconventional shale drilling industry
• Becoming informed by learning more about the hazards of "fracking" and injection wells.
• Getting involved and acting to protect freshwater supplies for the future.

About Our Organization
FreshWater Accountability Project is concerned about the state of our
freshwater supply.

We began our efforts by holding the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy accountable for the protection valuable public assets, which justified the property tax assessment in the district.

Even though the Conservancy district receives revenue justified by its charge to act for public benefit, the MWCD decided to make tens of millions of dollars in profit by leasing public land for fracking and selling public water for destruction by the industry.

The FreshWater Accountability Project includes affiliates in Ohio such as Food and Water Watch (
www.foodandwaterwatch.org) and Buckeye Forest Council (www.buckeyeforestcouncil.org) among others.

Please contact us today to join in our effort.
We encourage everyone who values clean, freshwater for our children's future to help us stop the sale of freshwater supplies for fracking and act to protect our water that remains!
